Sehbehinderung, Sehschädigung, hochgradig blind…
alles einfach andere Umstände für das volle Leben!

Einmal die Augen schließen und sich den dicken Nebel im Spätsommer in den Feldern vorstellen, wenn ganz hinten die Sonne aufgeht und alles in ein anderes, wandelbares Licht taucht und trotzdem nichts zu erkennen ist. Das war mein frühmorgendliches Bild, mit dem ich verstand, dass die Sehbehinderung meiner Tochter so gar nichts mit dem klassischen Bild von Dunkelheit oder Bedrücktheit zu tun hat. Ich war meinem eigenen (gesellschaftlichen?) Vorurteil begegnet und hab es in den Schrank der Vergangenheit gelegt. Ein guter Platz dafür!
